Boston College VS University of Missouri (Mizzou) $$$

Boston College VS University of Missouri (Mizzou) $$$ [#permalink] New post   07 Dec 2019, 11:08
Hey Everyone!

I was recently accepted to both full-time MBA programs at Boston College and University of Missouri. I am having a hard time deciding since Mizzou offered me a full scholarship, but Boston College didn't offer me any type of GA or scholarship. I know that the Boston College brand is going to be stronger than Mizzou, but an MBA from BC will cost me 100k. Any advice on how I should approach this decision or any insight on which school I should be leaning towards?

I want to work in the marketing field as a marketing specialist, or in brand management. My ultimate goal would be to work for a sports brand company like Nike, Adidas, Etc.

Any help would be appreciated!

Normally, I would have voted for BC. However, looking at your career goals- BC doesn't make sense.
NIKE & Adidas - Not even a top 20 school can guarantee that. But trust me when I say this, brands like NIKE, APPLE, AMAZON etc. no longer care as to which school a candidate is attending as long as they know the how to get it done..

It is doable even at a Top 70 school.

Hard to go wrong with a free MBA. Need to program is within the top 10 or top 20 so the difference in experience and recruiting options are not that vastly different.
