Hi Guys,
I gave my test on 30 June in the LNCT center. I traveled from a different city a day in advance and stayed in a hotel. As pointed out in other posts, I contacted the reception (through the phone no. available in their Google search results) and got the contact details of Mr. Mukesh Narula who's the organizer. I actually reached the test center a little early (9:40, my test was at 10:30) as the center is 30 minutes away from the man city. Ola cabs are working fine but just keep in mind that it might take you a bit long if there's traffic. You have to ask for the LNCTE building inside the campus. On the first floor entrance of the building, you'll see a GMAT board at the reception. But as the college is closed, you'll either find the whole campus empty or just the cleaning staff. I was waiting for some kind of intimation from the one in charge but nobody was to be seen until 10:20 and TBH it was difficult sitting in the hot and humid lobby. Also note that the GMAT room is to the right of the reception, but there were signs in the corridor which pointed left and I spent a good chunk of my energy and time trying to figure out the room 117 where the test takes place. I paced up and down everywhere and by chance stumbled upon the room. By the time the supervisor had come, I was completely drenched in sweat and a bit annoyed as I had to basically call them up to come for my exam (Didnt look like they were expecting any candidates that day). But once the staff came it was quick and he was helpful. They'll give you a locker to keep your stuff and depending on who the person is (there are 2-3 people who take alternate turns in supervising the exam on different days), they'll either ask you to keep your bag along with your phone and any reading material, either inside the locker and lock it (while you can keep water, snacks, meds etc. outside) or with them until the duration if the exam. Palm reader worked after 5 tries. The room has 5 computers side by side (
https://lnct.ac.in/gmat-test-center/ - to check the layout of the room) but due to covid, they're only allowing two candidates per slot (Only one slot per day available- 10:30) so you can ask for the one farther away from the AC as its a bit noisy. Otherwise the systems are fine, and the room quiet. If you're alone in the room, you can choose to take off your mask if you're uncomfortable in that. The monitor's brightness is a little high so make sure you ask the invigilator to decrease it during login. It wont be apparent in the blue login screen, but once the white question screen appears, it'll strain your eyes. There's a washroom in the same area, and the staff is cordial and attentive to respond to your buzzer. Overall, except the initial confusion and glitches, it was a decent experience. Try to reach around 10:00-10:15 so that you are not sitting waiting for the invigilators to arrive.
