From the information we've gathered, it's around mid-teen. It's also worth highlighting that the number of applications has steadily gone up in recent years.

Hadamard Thank you for such an illuminating thread. It seems people do not like MIT SFMBA at All!

I have a rather unique profile (meaning - I have t seen anyone else from my dull industry share their experience here openly) and terrible gmat score. Yes am preparing for R2 msx. would you mind if I PM you? Not comfortable speaking in public.

Has anyone been accepted in R1? I can set up a https://gmatclub.com/chat group for new admits and current students so you can get your questions answered about life on campus.

First of all, congratulations! That’s a great problem to have. Every year there are 4-5 dual admits. Majority of them (3-4) would go for the MBA program in the end. To decide which program is a better fit for you, I recommend you talk to both Kirsten and Mike. If possible, make a trip to the campus and talk to both MBA and MSx students. I’d be happy to help with the latter.

Hi, as I mentioned above, I was waitlisted after Round 1. I have since then received an offer from the only other school I applied to. Consequently, I have submitted to Stanford a) Letter of Continued Interest via the portal and b) Email to Stanford MSX Admissions with the offer letter from the other school with the stated deadline for confirmation (20 Feb).

Now, I wait..

Usually Stanford doesn't do early decisions. Plus INSEAD and Stanford are apples and oranges: two programs have little in common. One is in a remote village while other is in heart of Silicon Valley, one is old-school while other is cutting edge, INSEAD is a tiny school while Stanford is huge, and so on.

The only commonality between two programs is that they have recognized brands. Which one do you prefer more?

Hi all,

Today is the day that Stanford GSB is supposed to send out interview invitations. Has anyone received the same?

My god, this seems like a not-good-idea. For security and whatnot. Be patient.

Stanford has been pretty good about communicating dates. I feel like if this was a date *everybody* was supposed to know, it would have been in the emails we’ve received since applying.
