Hi Avik, I checked on the website. There is no personal email as such. May be, the guys who got selected would have received personal mail. What about your results?

I have think same waitlist message is displayed for anyone interviewed and not getting a confirmed admit.

Does anyone know how many people do they place in the waitlist and what are the chances that people in the waitlist actually convert?

Again IIMC hasn’t given any waitlist number so it is not possible to estimate where we stand

Yes Prateek, that's absolutely true. They have kept some people on waitlist and they will intimate those based on number of vacancies that will arise. I spoke to the adcom office and they informed that they will not disclose the number of waitlists. So, its like a 50-50 chance if one is on the waitlist. The wait continues till Jan 30th which hopefully be a good news for a few of us! All the best!
