IE just cannot seem to recover from that kerfuffle a few years back. Where there was some concern about double entering surveys or something. Now Prodigy won't even work with them. Unfortunate because I do think that they have a good program.

Oxford Said, Emory Gouizetta and IE seem to be among the "biggest losers" out of the top 50 schools.

The drop for Booth is also interesting, the school seems to be up and coming in most other rankings.

I see the poets and quants( which says it has complied the ranking from diverse sources) ranking where ISB has been rated pretty highly while the ball park differs for QS and others. Most of the rankings use similar metrics so what explains the difference in the rankings.

A potential anomaly is Ross being ranked lower than ISB

Guys, I have updated the post with some highlights

Narenn .. Yes, HEC is the surprising one with +10 change. Most of the European schools are loosing places

Arro44 .. This is quite strange to see Emory , Oxford on the loosing list. For IE, I agree with MBAPrepCoach

LeoN88 .. IIM-B tops the list and IIM-A with -14 drop

Just started an MBA at Imperial. Not super happy to see a 16 place drop, especially since Imperial itself is a top 10 world University (per QS ranking). Any idea why?

Odd that all of the Australian schools went down so much... anyone looked at the methodology? Is it the average pay that lagged in AU?

It could be the weighted salary and/or salary increase. I think the methodology is the same - CLICK HERE

Thank you. I picked a few "gems" from that methodology:

Quote:
The FT also collects information from schools on their current faculty, newly enrolled students and the latest graduating class. School criteria include the diversity of staff, board members and students by gender, nationality and the MBA’s international reach. For gender criteria, schools with a 50:50 composition score highest.

Quote:
The research rank is based on the number of articles by full-time faculty in 50 internationally recognised academic and practitioner journals. The rank combines the number of publications from January 2017 to August 2019, with the number weighted relative to faculty size.

Weighted Salary: 20%
Salary Increase: 20%
Value for money: 3% also based on salary
Research rank: 10%

It is all basically about the salary but Salary and especially Salary Increase could be a deceptive methodology for Schools with many international applicants who transition from emerging to developed economies and whose disparity of salary is significant. In addition, those who have worked in non-profit fields or had low income for one reason or another would also bump the rankings.
