hi
i need your help
please explain the gist of question

Basically we are asked what must be true for the conclusion of the argument to be true.
The conclusion is the first line of the argument. and the follwing lines are the premises .

So we have to select the option in the answer choices that helps us establish the validity of the conclusion.

If the mass of visible stars cannot be measured reliably then we cant say dark matter is much larger in quantity.
Therefore the official answer holds true.

hope this helps
