I got the same mail. No interview invite. From some earlier posts I reckon it means a wait list for interview. I'm not at all sure though. Can anybody spread some light on this?

I got the same mail right now. I guess they are still processing so it maybe just a postponing of date.

Got the same mail. What does it mean?? Waitlisted without interview? What are the chances for a call in such a case?

Hi, I'm so sorry, but I'm sure you have bigger and brighter things in stock for your future!

Can you please tell what round did you apply in and whether you were invited for the interview?

Thank you!

Hi guys just a honest question. I had 680 with 5 year exp and got rejected in R3. I can surely improve the score but should I apply again next year as next time I would have to show personal improvement and I am not very sure how much personal improvement I can show in just 6 months from now.

I kind of feel my ISB dream is done. Hard to take this rejection.

Hi Anil,

I know it must be a tough pill to swallow. I am sure I would have been thinking the same had I been rejected.

I would suggest that you try and improve your gmat score and also whatever personal improvement you can manage in the coming months could definitely be a contributing factor.

With that said, I am sure you will find a way to push through. As the quote says " Try and fail but never fail to try", so do give yourself another chance.

Cheers.

Hi, I haven’t had interview with ISB yet. However, got an email that my profile has been kept for further review and I’ll hear back on 10th March. Anyone else in the same boat?

Talk to an admission consultant, let him/her analyze your overall profile/ding and recommend improvement points. It's simple, gather more data points to evaluate the situation and then plan your next year (MBA or no-MBA). Currently you're in a bad state of mind hence requesting you to talk to an expert.

If you're feeling low and just want to talk to someone I'm happy to get into a quick call with you. Community Karma Points :heart :heart Cheers!

Hi Anshuman

Chances of conversion from this point onwards are low for those waitlisted without an interview. Basically, ISB is waiting for places to become available (i.e. someone dropping out after an admit from another school). At least some places will become available that way. However, the people who have already been interviewed (there are quite a few) and on waitlist will be first in priority there.

You are on waitlist and might be offered an interview at a later point if enough admitted applicants pull out (R2 admission decisions for most US schools still pending) and ISB R3 waitlisted applicants who have been interviewed are adjusted.
