GMAT Extra Time Question

Hey everybody, I have a question about extra time on the GMAT.

I have been studying for the past 3 months and my exam is scheduled for this weekend. However, I have OCD and the last month of studying has made it sink in how much of an impact it is having on my scores - e.g., I understand the concepts and strategies but have immense trouble progressing through the questions in a timely way due to the OCD. I think I am capable of getting into the low/mid 700's but my OCD slows me down so much and is a real issue to me getting there. So, I have decided to apply for 50% extra time, which I think will help.

For the exam this weekend, I know that I am going to cancel my scores regardless as I am definitely not where I need to be score-wise yet (I figured I would use this weekend as a test run as I am a nervous test-taker anyways).

My question is: Will taking the GMAT without accommodations somehow impact their decision on whether or not I get extra time for the second test date? Since I know that I want to apply for more time, would it be beneficial to just not show up this weekend and get the application for extra time started (essentially giving them a blank slate to make the judgment off)? Does this matter at all?

For context: I have had OCD since I was a child but have only been seeing a psychiatrist/therapist for the last 3 years. Have never gotten extra time on an exam before (as I was undiagnosed until these last few years). My psychiatrist would obviously attest to the fact that I do have OCD.

Any insight here would be appreciated. Not too sure how this all works. Thanks!
