Hi, all :) I'm starting a thread here for the Fall 2020 applicants.

I submitted my application for the round 1 (February 1st deadline). I finished my video interview before Feb 1st, and am awaiting response. Interviewer informed me that the result will be announced via email by the end of February. This is the only school I applied to after I did tremendous amount of research. I am keeping my fingers crossed on the acceptance.

Has anyone submitted the application and finished interview? How was your experience?

Just put in my application today, before the March 1st dead-line. This is my only application and preferred school at this time.

If I get in, I may not need any other applications.

I have not received any news from the school as of now. They said they would email by end of February. I might not have made it. Did you have your interview yet?

I applied in December right when the application opened. I interviewed in January but I haven't heard either :( Fingers crossed!

Got email today for admission. Email subject says "? Congrats! You're an Illini! ?".

I got an email from Associate Dean Brooke Elliott with the subject - "Congrats! You're an Illini!". Waiting for an email from graduate school.

Did anyone get email from Graduate college? I don't think that my application portal has been updated. Although I received the email from Associate Dean Brooke Elliott, my portal still reads - Application Status: Awaiting Decision.

Has any of your portal changed yet?

Joining the party - Also Received a “ You’re an illini “ mail today !!

I guess the mail from Grad School will follow by tomorrow or early next week .

I wonder how big the 2020 cohort will be , the applications have been growing exponentially.

I had an interview and I will hear by end of March.

I will probably try and start in the summer, if accepted.

hello everyone,

I scheduled an interview with them on March 24. Any suggestion for what they will ask?
I applied for Fall2020.

I submit my application by Feb 25, before Round 2 March 1 deadline.
Receive interview invitation on March 6.

The interview may focus on your motivation to join the program , your added value and your expectations during and post completion . It is simple and sweet . Be relaxed and you should do great .

Did anyone that interviewed this month already get accepted? I interviewed earlier this month and the interviewer told be I would hear something by the end of the week and that was about two weeks ago.

The way I was told, we would hear end of March. It sounded like it might be the last couple days.
