It must be E.

Get this basic funda........

Statement 1: N= 7p+3
It is not sufficient.

Statement 2: N=4q+2
It is not sufficient .

Let's combine both.

N=7p+3
This number when divided by 4 leaves a remainder 2
which mean N-2 divsible by 4 exactly.
ie 7p+1 must be divisible by 4.
So p=1,5,9,....................
are the possible values( Look once u get the min value of x, the value will be the minimum +4)

So there are infinite numbers satisfying both the conditions

What is integer n?

1. When divided by 7, remainder is 3
2. When divided by 4, remainder is 2

n = 7x+3 n could be 3,10,17,24,38...insuff

from two

n = 4y+2 n could be 2,6,14,18,22,26........insuff

both together are insuff

my answer is E
