If you are not interested to view hundreds of small videos, then go with magoosh. But, you need to purchase GMAT mocks as magoosh is not providing sufficient mocks, in my opinion, to evaluate yourself. You can check other courses for more information from above links.

Hi taraashannon,

Many Test Takers are unhappy with their initial practice scores, but you really shouldn't be. That 360 is just a measure of your skills right now - and you'll improve on that result over time as you learn more about the content, Tactics and little 'secrets' of the Exam. There's a significant difference between scoring 550 and 650 though, so it's important to clearly define your timeline and goals so that we can put together a proper Study Plan for you.

1) On this practice CAT/mock, did you run out of time and leave any questions unanswered (and if so, then how many?)?
2) Have you put in any study time already or are you just beginning your studies?
3) What study materials do you currently have (and/or have you used so far)?
4) What application deadline(s) are you facing?

Hi taraashannon,

Regarding prep courses, in addition to seeking advice in this thread, take a look at the GMAT Club reviews for the best quant and verbal courses, and also read through some GMAT success stories to see what materials have worked well for other test-takers.

Also, would you like some general advice on how to improve your verbal and quant skills?

You also may find it helpful to read this article about
how to score a 700+ on the GMAT.

Good luck!

HI

if you are getting a low score, then there might be some problem with your fundamentals. but the good thing is that you are not aiming for a really high score.
first, you need to focus on building your fundamentals: if you are facing trouble with verbal only than go for Magoosh as it has a really good video content ( by Mike Mcgarry)
but if you think your problem areas are both Quant and verbal, then go for Experts' global as it is much more balance on every aspect
additionally, you will have 15 great mocks with Experts' global, but the same is limited with magoosh.

Anyways, you will be in good hands with both the prep companies

Magoosh + 7 Veritas CATs($19) should do.

Magoosh helped me in getting at least +60 points from what I was initially scoring. Their course is very effective in strengthening fundamentals. Rest depends on how hard are you willing to work. I would say go ahead with Magoosh.
