Hello!

I am doing my Masters degree in Automotive Transport in Ukraine, but I work part-time as a remote English editor (Independent Contractor Relationship is what is written in my contract with the company).

My responsibilities:
- Proofread papers, such as essays, research papers, courseworks, etc., written by writers;
- Correct mistakes, give recommendations for correction work;
- Assess skills and performance of writers on orders.


Can this kind of work experience be considered good for MBA in Finance admission?

Do you mean you help write research papers and essays? What does “assess skills and performance of writers on orders” mean? Is that when someone orders a research paper?

No, generally I do not do any writing. I just can rewrite some information or provide introduction or conclusion to the paper, if needed.

The writers are given instructions by the customers. Sometimes, writers do not comply with such instructions as British/American spelling, paper format, word count, etc. I correct such mistakes and then rate the writers' performance on a scale of 0 to 10 based on their grammar and compliance with instructions given.

This sounds like a semi legitimate business so I would see it harming rather than helping :-D

Wow! Any advice on how to solve this problem?

I have been working at that position for almost a year. And in these times, it is extremely difficult to get even "OK" job in Ukraine, let alone a good job. So it is kind of problematic to get some quality work experience at any different company.
