I recently gave the GMAT online and scored a 620. I had plans to go to USC MSF or Vanderbilt MSF or Washington University St.louis but with a 620 I can't. Should I go to Babson college if I get it or should I wait and apply next year. I believe if I give a second try with proper preparation I can get a 700 at least. But the thing is, due to the pandemic many students are deferring their admissions to next year and there might not be enough seats available and they say it's going to be difficult next year. So, Should I go to Babson?
Some background information:
I graduated in Computer science from the University of Illinois Springfield with a 3.0 GPA in December 2019. I am an international student from India and I've been living in the USA since 2015.

So, should I wait and apply next year or will it be difficult?

Hi,

As a WashU MSF alumni, I would recommend still applying for the program. The adcoms might consider your application based on other aspects and qualities you can demonstrate, given it is not possible to retake the GMAT in the current environment.

Hey Rohan

I got an admit from Babson for Fall 2020 and I applied in R3 with a 630 score. I am from India as well.

I should tell you that Babson has planned to start the course online and given the situation, it will take months for visa processing after the embassies open( no sight of that happening any time soon). So this needs to be taken into consideration.

Also, the scholarship will be very less given the score. I got $30,000 total. But still my fees is $85,000 and living expenses is separate which in Boston will be around $1300/ month. So for me in this covid situation, it doesn’t seem a good investment.

If you are still not sure, my mantra is to do what needs to be done now and make a choice later. So I suggest you to apply to the schools you want and take a decision later. You will have much more clarity by then.

Thank you rishi02 I have started my application for Washington University st.louis. And considering Shrinkhla21 's advice, if I do not get in then I'll apply next year with better GMAT. Thank you guys. You have no idea how much I appreciate this.
