I have my GMAT exam scheduled on the day after tomorrow and I'm a little nervous for the same. The primary concern for nervousness is my performance in mock tests by commercial institutes. While I scored as high as 780 in one of the GMAT Prep mocks, my score was consistently within 690-710 range in the free mock tests by Veritas, Kaplan, Manhattan,
Experts Global, and others, which has been troubling me because I really want to score 750+ in GMAT. I read somewhere that these free tests are scored differently so that you opt for a paid engagement, but I'm not sure if that's the case or am I actually a 700 student. Given my working hours, lockdown was the best time for me to prepare, and I don't think I'll be retaking the exam in the near future.
The main problem with my preparation is Verbal whereI have scored as low as 26 and as high as 46 (Quant has been consistently 51, sometimes 50). Something seems to be out of place in verbal for me, particularly Critical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension parts. I don't solve these questions from the methods mostly prevalent (pre-thinking for CR or writing down summary for RC), but don't face issues as such which can be resolved by these methods. Further, with just one more day, I don't really think it's best for me to change my strategy now. Looking for last minute suggestions from the experts in this awesome community which can help me get closer to my target score on the final day.
