It's definitely just a rumor, but the logic is there: it's possible that GMAT Online scores above a certain predetermined level (say, 770+) might automatically trigger an "additional (proctoring video) review," which takes longer, and thus the scores also take longer to arrive.

...or maybe that's just wishful thinking.

Please. Don’t be silly everybody. There’s absolutely no correlation or reason to believe this. Souvik received 760 and his last test and he got the score within two days. The length of time to release the score depends on how many reviews and how many flags are triggered within the video. The more issues are spotted by AI and the more levels of reviews required, the longer takes to release the scores.

PS. You should know better than to spread the rumor too.

bb or any of the veterans, how does the verbal GMATClub tests fare against the actual GMAT when it comes to difficulty? I know that the Quants are a lot tougher but I do not know how to interpret the Verbal scores.

Any comment from someone who has taken both would be helpful.

In-person vs online exam - Which is preferable?
I have a doubt, will B schools accept online GMAT scores for future admission years?
In case one could not get through this year, can he/she face issues while using online GMAT scores next year?
Though online GMAT score has a validity of 5 years but schools started accepting them only due to lockdown situations and there is no information about next year's.

Business schools will continue to accept the online GMAT scores as long as they are valid by GMAC. If you plan on applying either this year or next year, you shouldn’t experience any significant issues using your online GMAT scores. However, I wouldn’t recommend taking the online GMAT exam now if you plan on applying in 3+ years. As you said, the value of the Online GMAT scores will definitely depreciate in value over time and schools will again prefer the in-person GMAT in the future.

Even I have this doubt. Apart from scoring part of Gmatclub verbal, I am more concerned about how much more difficult they are in comparison to actual Gmat prep. Like quant Ctas are a lot tougher than GMAT prep, what about the verbal part?
Gods bb Bunuel souvik101990 and other Experts too please throw some light on this one.

Today I also sent an email to GMAC regarding my delayed GMAT Online score release, and I received the same generic auto-reply message mentioning a wait of up to to 20 business days (or more!) for certain scores.

Is it likely that the offering of the Online GMAT will be prolonged?

Hi everyone,

Looking to sit the GMAT for the first time in November/December. What are everyone's thoughts about how long the online test will be offered? In the coming months should I focus more on preparing for an 'online' test-day (buying + using a whiteboard etc.)?

Has anyone received the scores within 2 days recently?
I was just wondering if it's definitely taking long and I'll stop updating the site every 30min or if there's any chance I could get my scores quickly.

I am also waiting for my result and just as you checking the mba.com website repeatedly because of anxiety.
I think we need to be more patient. Maybe they were on vacation because of July 4th... just a guess

Hi all - I know this is not the right forum for my question, but any advice would be helpful:

Is it not possible to retake the free GMAT Prep tests without resetting the tests? I understand that the question bank for the free mocks is apparently huge and that they can be taken multiple times but if I reset the test, I see repeat questions. Is there a way to avoid that?

You are right, not the right topic
The only way around it is buying new tests 3,4,5,6 ?

Hi everyone, sharing my GMAT online exam experience here. Just gave it today.

The timings were from 7:00pm to 9:45 pm. I checked in at 6:40 and did the formalities (went smoothly). The proctor was assigned in 3 minutes and the exam began shortly after wards. I was told to show my whiteboard before the exam began.

The quant section was comparatively easy and I finished it with 12 mintutes to spare. Before hitting the submit button, I relaxed for a minute so that I get prepared for the verbal section.

The verbal section was a bit tricky and the difference between the correct and the incorrect choice was subtle. Overall, the were inline with the GMAT prep (only that the questions in the actual exams were tough ?). RC passages were of normal lengths; SC was a bit difficult, CR was okay. I finished this section with 6 minutes to spare (I should have taken more time but I was urging badly to go to the washroom!). As soon as I finished verbal, I informed the proctor (Ashly) that I want to go to washroom; she was okay with that as long as the break was there.

After that I started with IR section. The questions relatively tough this time. Finished this section in time.

I was told only twice to show my whiteboard to the proctor, once at the beginning of quant section and the other was at the end of the exam. The proctor was supportive and the process was smooth. A stable internet connection is recommended. I did not cover my face during the exam so I was not interrupted by the proctor (although I was stretching and making expressions).

Now looking forward to seeing the results.

Could any one please confirm during check in process of Gmat Online How can I provide digital pics of - my id , my face , and the testing area if we are not allowed to take photos with the phone .
And do I need to clear my PC ( like formatting the machine or like clearing desktop or anything else ) through which I will give my exam ?
