Dear Experts,
Could please help me with this:
What is the correct way of approaching: How you're a good fit for our University (For MBA)?
Is it similar to the question: How will you contribute to our campus/What can you contribute to our program?
Should the answer state about the values of the school and campus environment, for instance mentioning the tightly-knit community culture, etc.
Also, shall I state about how can I contribute to various student clubs and organizations on the basis of my academic background and my work experience?
dharde9 hi,
my name is Shimri and I head the strategy here at
ARINGO (And an LBS alumnus).
I think you understood exactly the things you need to mention.
Schools look for two things
1. is the candidate motivated about the school? or is this a backup option for him?
2. Will the candidate contribute to the class and to the entire school community?
You can answer these two areas in many ways and your answer depends on your past professional, educational and extracurricular activities as well as the school itself, its location, its culture and its specializations (= there is no "right" answer to this. just like with your essays, you will need to find the answer that fits your story best, but the things you mentioned in your question are bang on!)
GOOD LUCK!
Shimri
