Uh, you noticed just now that you are nuts?

Try not to stress too much or you will end up like that guy in "A Beautiful Mind". Incidentally, that was filmed at the Michigan Law School, which is right across the street from the business school.

If I invent the equivalent of modern game theory by going nuts, then count me in.

Ok I need something to occupy my brain. Anyone want to send me their essays for review?

Count me in.......

Since I submitted....... everyday I go to the website and check the status...infact I am going to do it right after this.....

And why do I do that even though I know that it will be atleast 2-3 weeks before anyone updates the status.

Simple reason..... it allows me to be calm. You know I am so immersed in the MBA application process that I need to write essays, visit blogs etc.... to feel normal.

There is no charm left in the office. Its just another one of the things that one has to do.

We should open a MBA'holic anonymous.....

I wonder if fluffydot found my post on gmatclub - I thought it was pretty funny. Maybe I'll go read it, it'll cheer me up. Argh, here's a post from a part time applicant. Lucky !@(#!(@# son of !@(#!@, he'll know faster than it takes me to drive home. I should have applied part time. Why didn't I? Oh yea, I don't want to go part time. I want full time. Gosh though if I'd just applied part time, I'd hear back in like five more days. I could do five more days. How many days is it now? 70 what? Argh.
And so on.... And so on... And so on...

Pre-emptive insanity plea goes >> HERE <<

Sorry man i hope i'm not annoying ya with all the part-timer posts but if it counts for anything i'm really rooting for ya to get into GSB....

Send all the essays together - the essays together should tell a "story". It's easier for me to get a picture with them all. I.e. If in essay 1 or 3 or whatever you talk about leadership quite a bit and in essay 2 you don't, I'm going to wonder about leadership. Think of the essays not as individuals, but as a package. Together they paint a picture.

I applied R1. He's applying R2.

Thats why I really only helped people applying to schools I wasn't applying to in R1. Now that I'm done, it doesn't much matter who I help or what schools I help with.

So I dont see the conflict, but hey, correct me if I'm wrong.

No conflict of interest...of whatsover

The admission process is so subjective ..no one can be sure of his/her chances at the top 10-15 schools ..

Getting essays reviewed by a fellow applicant will offer insight different from an admission consultant

Rhyme if its any consolation,

I check my CMU and HAas status every morning when I have a coffee and every night before I sleep..

I have a question -
DO YOU THINK THEY KEEP TRACK ON HOW MANY TIMES PPL CHECK THE STATUS.

IF APPLICANT CHECKS > 2 TIMES A DAY
HE IS VERY DESPERATE - DING
ELSE
REVIEW HIS PACKAGE

HAHA kidding.

I check from different ip addresses - morning from work, evening from home to throw off them a bit ;)

Proof I've gone nuts:

I couldnt stand wondering if I'd been emailed while in a meeting so I...

Took a spare pc
Set up microsoft exchange
Set up small business server
Set up blackberry corporate enterprise software
Bought a blackberry
Set up the blackberry with corporate enterprise access to my personal email

Now I can see my email 100000 times a day!

Hmm, you could have just gotten a blackberry or any other smartphone and signed up for personal push email that automatically syncs with your desktop email client - available from all the major wireless carriers.

Or was your post just a joke? It's so hard to understand crazy people.
