Hi Everyone,

We had texas101 kelzo123 AmitPandey025 NiftyNiffler reddy10d andresgmat1987 on the call. andresgmat1987 already got admitted to Tuck and is deferring to the class of 2023. So there were some useful insights about the Tuck application from him.

Here are some of the things we have discussed on the call

Introductions and Why Tuck?
How to approach each of the essay questions?
Purpose of optional essays and how one can use them
Taking some quant courses before MBA
GPA Conversion
Interview preparation
Post-MBA goals

Hi everyone,

I used to interview for Tuck until recently. If anyone is interested in a mock interview, please contact me at mbainterviews2020 at gmail . I can provide below information:

1) explanation of the criteria used to evaluate a candidate and how you can differentiate yourself through your answers if you are from typical background ie Indian male, Chinese etc
2) conduct 2 mock interviews and provide feedback

Ofcourse, there will be a small fee for above. Fairly busy these days so will only be able to accommodate limited requests. Pre-work will also be needed on your part as I will send you certain links to read and certain questions to prepare.

Let me know

Don't you think it is illegal to reveal the criteria used to evaluate a candidate? I think doing mock interviews and giving feedback is fine but I have a problem with you saying that you will tell the participants about the criteria used to evaluate a candidate.

I would suggest others NOT to sign up as this is something fishy :D I may even remove the above post based on what others think of it.

I don't think there's anything illegal about sharing that information, or unethical about candidates looking for that information. Whether or not that user signed some sort of NDA he could be breaking is a different story.

That being said, lol this is fishy. mbainterviews2020 needs to verify his identity and prove that he was on Tuck's admission team imo

Re: Networking with Tuck applicants [#permalink]
You raise a good point; To clarify, the criteria is already on Tuck's website - I was offering to explain how to interpret that criteria and present your story with that criteria in mind. Anyways, I have received multiple requests since my post so I have very limited spots left now. I can only accomodate max 10 candidates so not looking for too many responses. Take care.
