I just got a mail from Chicago...... I am invited.....

My pessimistic mind says.. they send me so early because they want finish with the interviews who are less likely to have a chance.

But deep down, I am happy.... coming from the largest demographic profile (that too not from the top school in the country) .... GSB has just vindicated my self-confidence.

Wow already! Congrats on being the first.

I am confident I will get an interview as I have two recommendations from alumni. Both stellar.

Congrats jaynayak!

Thanks Rhyme

Being the first worries me... Did a search on the alumni name. Alumni seems to be a VP in a networking company.

Gotta check on my suit now.

Yeah, more like the 6 month nightmare when you consider all the schools people are applying to and the various notification dates - but hey who's counting?

I am sure you will get an invite, dont worry.

Check on da suit!!

I'm so envious of you right now, its not even funny. I know odds are, with a double alumn rec for people I've worked with for years, I imagine I will get an interview, but I'm still insanely envious that you already got one.

Why worry about being first? That means they didnt even have to think about it! They instantly knew to interview you!

I haven't posted too much....in fact not at all. But I have been stressing about this interview thing just like everyone else. I applied round 1 to HBS, Wharton, and Chicago. Today I received interview invites to Chicago and Wharton.

Dang!!! I didn't get a Chicago invite yet!

Now I'm feeling all discouraged. Two people on here already with invites!! A good dozen more on BW.

Maybe I spoke to soon!

Can one of you tell me what it says for you guys under "App Status"

Test Scores
--------------
Test Scores Verified for Completeness: Yes
Tests Waived No
Tests Verified No
Tests Verified Date

I assume this was OK, but I'm now wondering if there was any kind of Test Waived status that should say yes...
