Square root of product of a and b is 14.

So product of a and b is 196.

Lets check the answer choices

A. 35 - 7*28 = 196
B. 53 - 4*49 = 196
C. 100 - 2*98 = 196

All three options works.

Option E is the answer

We are given that √(ab) = 14; thus, we see that ab = 14^2 = 196. Factoring 196 into product pairs, we have:

196 = 2 x 98 = 4 x 49 = 28 x 7

We see that the sum, a + b, could be 100 if a = 2 and b = 98; it could be 53 if a = 4 and b = 49; and, finally, it could be 35 if a = 28 and b = 7.

ab=2*2*7*7

A+b= 35(28,7)
=53(49,4)
=100(98,2)
All three cases possible

I think “B “ is the answer

√a * √b =14
Because 14 is only divisible by 7 and 2 and 1
For 53 -> √49 =7 -> a=49 , √4=2 -> b=4 ,a+b=53 and 7*2=14

Other. Case may not be possible

The square root of the product of the positive integers a and b is 14, therefore, a * b = 196

=> Possible combinations: 1 * 196 , 2 * 98, 4 * 49, 7 * 28, 14 * 14

a + b = 197, 100, 53, 35, 28
