Happy to help. Yes, at some of the top schools we do find that many of our successful applicants have close to 5 years when they matriculate. Whether you stand a better chance really depends on what else would change / improve in that time. If it's just another year under your belt, I'm not sure that alone will make a huge difference, but if that gives you time to improve other areas then I think together, those things would increase your chances.
