Yale sends an initial sent of interview invites based on GPA, GMAT, and employer, before even fully reviewing the application. This is likely the first handful of people that were invited. The remainder of the interviews come out as they're reviewing applications, and occur on a rolling basis.

That first category of interview invites has got to be done by now. So if you don't have an interview offer, you weren't part of the first group. That being said, you could still be invited as part of the second group of interviews, up until the deadline.

Makes sense. There was a wave on clearadmit 1 week after the deadline with people at or above median for both stats

Congrats to the second wave of interview invites! - Has anyone from India received an Interview invite?

Just received an invite via Email. International applicant. As some have mentioned here, it went to the promotion folder in my gmail.

Thank you! Yup and the e-mail went into the promotions tab, so keep an eye out there. Checking emails has never been this stressful haha, but hang in there because it looks like invites are still coming out! Good luck!

Has anyone who took the online GMAT and applied R1 received an email from the adcom that they don't have your most recent score? Yale emailed me last week and asked me to send my latest score, but I called GMAC and they told me that Yale has to access the score themselves. I responded to Yale and let them know, but have yet to hear anything from them since...

Something similar happened with me. I only took the Online Gmat and the score was not showing received even after deadline. I emailed them and told them the date which the score was sent and it was updated a few hours later. Didn't get a personalized reply but the score was updated and showing 'submitted' in a few working hours.

Got it, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it's been over a week and the score still isn't showing that it has been received...might be that I'm not getting an invite at this point

Don't lose hope. There is still time as you can see from the last year's clearadmit's livewire dates. However, if your score isn't showing updated you can make a polite call to the admissions office to inform them of the issue. Good luck.

Hi All!

Applicant from the Northeast US. Submitted two days before the deadline. Still have not heard back yet.

I’m not as privy (as many on these sites seem to be) about sort of discerning the percentages of invites that have been sent out/does SOM seem to have preferred candidates that were invited to interview very early on, etc.

I know what it says on the website about receiving an invite up to two months after submission, but I’m guessing I’m toast. I haven’t seen any rejections reported yet, so maybe that’ll come in a big batch.

Any thoughts on still holding out a little hope? Or is it more likely that I’m probably out (I can handle the truth!).

There's ALWAYS a chance until you see that rejection notice. That being said, please be aware that Yale interviews about 30% of applicants, so it is very competitive. Most people do not get interviews - this isn't like Tuck or Kellogg where they interview a ton of people.
