Hey
sirij99,
I’ll start off by saying that you have a pretty decent profile!
You have a strong academic record. A GPA of 7/10 brings to light your academic skills and capabilities. Moreover, getting a dual degree from BITS Pilani further bolsters your profile by adding a good brand name to your profile.
Further, you must be cognizant of the fact that schools seek applicants having a holistic profile . That said, you have undertaken a fair share of extracurricular activities as well. Your involvement in the CSR initiatives showcases your leadership skills and how you can channel your skills for the betterment of the society while being a core member of the student union council and admission’s committee shines light on your excellent leadership and communication skills.
Coming on to your work experience, you have decent work experience as well. Your stint as a Marketing consultant adds relevant work experience to your profile, something that would be appreciated by business schools. One important factor in work experience is the relevancy of a company's brand name. As you’d be facing competition from big4 candidates, you ought to craft a strong application which focuses on the kind of roles you have undertaken, the projects you undertook, and the positive impact you were able to create during your stint. Thus, effectively showcasing your work ex can help you establish in the minds of the admission's committee that you are no less than your competition.
Given your preference for non GMAT/GRE schools. You can apply to schools from competitive and safe categories. The competitive schools are those which have an acceptance rate of 20-30%, this will allow you to have a 50-60% chance of getting into the desired program. You can target the following schools:-
Competitive: Babson, UCL, TCD, UCD, Warwick etc.
Safe: Grenoble, Skema, Kedge etc
Another important factor while applying to non GMAT/GRE schools is to craft a really strong application as it will not only allow you to showcase your aptitude and worthiness for the program but would also allow you to highlight your strength while simultaneously smooth over any flaws in your profile.
As the round 2 of the application process is fast approaching, you might be looking for professional advice on your application strategy. Hence, I’d suggest you to book a free consultation call with our consultants who will help you figure out the best strategy for your application process while providing you with a list of schools tailored to your profile.
