Generally our values are formed from experiences - and also, experience/activities that are most rewarding to you reveal your values.
Think about something you enjoy, where you are in the zone, and what value is embedded in that. I think it's OK to use a childhood example only if you can show how that experience shaped you into who you are today, and give the reader a good sense of how that value shows up in your current day life.
