I got a "Possibly eligible" for HBS scholarship on the Financial Aid Planning tool. How much can I expect?

Yeah, but they are closed from 18 Dec to 4 Jan. So the earliest I would hear back is 14 Jan as they need at least 10 days to respond.

right, yes, same issue here😃 I do not think you can guess anything - they name their average on their webpage, but yeah, no clue who receives what...

Has anyone heard back about their FinAid estimates? I am so anxious about this whole procedure.

Hey there. I submitted the request rather late (first week of Jan) so I guess I will receive it within two weeks.

Hi guys, congrats! Any idea of the estimated income/financial aid threshold?

I think the financial aid estimation mechanism is highly flawed. I barely make above their defined thresholds, live in a city with the highest cost of living in the US and joining at an age much above their average class age, and I was not given any aid. Does anyone know how their appeal process works?

Hi Guys, those who were admitted last december, by which time did you complete the background check? January or later?
Thanks!

Huum so by background check you mean like your jobs?
There is also the transcript check...

I started my transcript check with WES really soon in December just in case, they finalized end of January and it took a few more weeks for it to disappear from my pre matric to do list.
Now regarding my jobs I started soon with Reverra too, but it took them some time to reach out to me in February asking claryfing questions/supporting documentation (this piece lasted 1~2 weeks). It took a few more weeks for it to disappear from my pre matric to do list.

I would recommed start everything you can rn so you have time if they ask you questions, supporting documentation, etc.

Hello, thanks for your feedback
Could you please give move details about both WES and Re Vera checks?
- For WES : what did they ask for, did they ask you to send the original (paper-based) transcript / asked your school to do so? Or emails were fine?
- For Re Vera : I'm curious about the supporting documentation, what did they ask for? What were their questions about?

Thanks again!
