Hi,

Looking to connect with people applying/applied for the FT MBA program at SFU.
I am confused as to what kind of TED talk should I choose for the essay. If anyone could guide me with regards to the essay then that will be really helpful.

Has anyone already applied for the FT MBA at SFU?

Hey Krishna15, how are you going ? I applied to the sfu ft 2021 intake. The essays were different from last times Ted talks essays. Submitted the Kira interview questions too within 4 days of the essay submission. Waiting to hear back for an interview invite. How about you ?

I did apply too, 10 days after Kira assessment I received invitation for interview. I am wondering about job opportunity after graduation sfu ft mba

I am good. How about you?
Yes, I got the new essay topics from the University. I have submitted my application but i need to upload my English proficiency test scores. I was under the impression that then English requirement has been waived off but I got an email from the Admissions team asking for the English test proof.
So, basically just because of the English requirement, my application process is getting delayed.
How was the KIRA interview?

So the Kira questions were basic. I got 3 video questions of 1 min each - Why SFU, challenges of my industry, & interesting person I met. For the written question, I was given 15 mins to write about the top 3 skills I hope to gain the most from the SFU program. hope that helps.

I was given 10 mins for written one,
And there were questions about why SFU?
What challenges did u face and resolved?

Yes, there are two essays this time. One is a essay about your goals and how the school can help you with them (250 words). And the second is a growth story of an experience that changed your understanding of yourself or others (500 words).

It was normal, routine questions were asked:
Why SFU
Plans
Personal Experience when u failed, what did u do...
He said that it takes around 7-10 day to make a desicion

Hey are all the round 1 admits out? I got invited for the interview and was wondering if anyone has any tips.

The cohort size is 50-60 right? It's going to be really tough for Indian Tech guys like me.

Hi everyone,
Will be much appreciated if anyone could advise me please?
I am trying to complete my application by end round 2 but after input all basic info I have not been able to find what the essay topics is? And there is the section called [ comment] where we can add additional info, what do we normally add here? A cover letter kind?
