Thanks for reaching out. I am not sure if you feel comfortable share here, but why do you have such a low GPA?
Despite all these great credentials, the ONLY way you are going to get into Wharton or Stanford is if you have an unbelievably unique life story or if you know someone with influence. Is that even the realm of possibilities?
I realize Wharton and Stanford are top programs, but there are many excellent programs a step or two below that could be worth your time and may look beyond your GPA for consideration. Alternatively, if you are planning to remain in PE post-MBA, why not try to find a shop that will allow you to climb the ladder without having to get the MBA?
You could always apply with the idea that if you get an interview, your GPA is not disqualifying because generally speaking if the school invites you to an interview they won't then disqualify you on the basis of something objective like a GPA since it's front and center.
