Haas/Kellogg - My chances ?? Should I apply R3 now or R1 next year ? [#permalink]

I have to actually be corrected. I have accidentally looked up FT stats.
Looking at the EWMBA: https://gmatclub.com/forum/haas-195/dec ... acker.html

(choose the right drop down) for the last few years, there seems to have been an equal number of interview invites for R3 as for R1 and R2, so I probably revise my previous statement that was a gut feel but appears to have been wrong.

As to your chances, your profile is great and should not keep you out of the running. But there is no way to tell for sure depending on how many other applicants apply wiht that exact same profile and how you perform in the essays and interview but I think you can apply for the EWMBA in R3! I am seeing fairly positive vibes about R3. Go figure!

hey asgopala! I think you have nice stats (GMAT/GPA/WE), you should give it a shot if you can get LoR and essays ready before the R3 deadline.

I talked to Admission Office a while ago, they encourage applicants to apply whenever applicants are ready to apply. From previous threads on Haas EWMBA, someone was admitted on R3 with a scholarship... I think you will have a better chance to receive a scholarship if you wait to apply for R1 (2022 intake), it's not a guarantee tho. That's being said, It's really up to you.

p.s. I am on the same boat except I'm still working on GMAT... (crying)
