How can I use GmatClub in my Prep

Hello, DDropa, and welcome to GMAT Club. I agree with what has been recommended above. Many members mention how helpful those GMATNinja YouTube videos have been for their Verbal preparation. You might also find videos from an older series called "Thursdays with Ron," in which a former Manhattan Prep instructor broke down topics and questions ranging from Verbal to Quant. Apart from these video resources, you will find occasional video responses to specific OG questions in the forum. I have seen such content from fiftyoneverbal, GMATRockstar, Avi Gutman, and Brent from GMAT Prep Now, among others. If you wanted a more structured course with video lessons, then a paid subscription to an online learning module might be the way to go.

It sounds like you're just starting out. Is that true? Have you done any studying so far?

If you're just beginning, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can access 2 for free from www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a bit of practice first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the general content and question types first, then that's fine - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.

I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:
1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Gmatclub is extensively used by students to practice questions. But before you jump into practicing questions, there are two important steps that you have finish. They are:

• Learning the concepts
• Learning the right methodology

Only after you are done with the above two, you can start practicing questions of that topic. You can go through the articles below to understand the right way to prepare for GMAT.

I would suggest you to choose a resource which can help you with:

• Concepts
• Methodology (Most important)
• Standard questions
• Their detailed solutions
• Study plan

The best thing to do would be to check out the free trials of the online courses out there and choose the one which suits you the most.
