Had a word with AdCom, the status would be released by 15th May on rolling basis.

However, IMO, ISB will roll out the admits for R3 on 25th April and will then start with waitlisted applicants. Because if I remember clearly, R3 was declared post the R1 decisions were rolled out on 20th Dec. And the date communicated to us was more in line with the application cycle that ISB had decided before opening up R3.

On the number of admits that the candidates have accepted and the number of seats vacant, the AdCom member said she cannot disclose any information.

There must be some other reason for the delay. The status for 15th May is for R2 and R3 candidates. Any extension for R1 status or releasing results along with other rounds can be communicated via email to all and not just when someone reaches out to adcom

ronka, firstly the entire process is a blackhole! There are no indicators like WL numbers etc! And if you are so secretive about your process least you could do is stick with your timeline. This way what the sense in having 3 rounds? Imagine someone who finished applying in sept is still waiting while someone who applied in March has got his results! Nothing against the candidates, but the whole purpose is getting defeated. A school which ranks so high is expected to do better if not anything else.

Spoke to adcom! Reply- "we completely understand your situation, we are trying to sort the waitlist. It will be done in phased manner from now till May!!"

Even the may 15th timeline for folks don’t make any sense. 21 May (last day of fee submission) is the date when you will get to know the exact number of students joining this year. So only post that you will know how many waitlist to clear!

There is no clear communication from the adcom team on any of the aspect, I wonder how could a college be this unorganised. Mostly if the waitlist results are going to be in phased manner then don’t know why the phasing has not even started yet. How will people get relieved from work in such short notice
