Solution:

30 is 30/50 x 100 = 3/5 x 100 = 60 percent of 50.

Answer: D

Can be done by just breaking the number down

50 = 100%
5=10% (of 50)
so, 5*6= 30 || 10*6 = 60%

30 is 60% of 50, option D

Then For 100 - ?

50 - 30
100 - ?

Cross Multiply!

Im not sure you've understood the question being asked. or if you have a question, I failed to understand it.

30 is 60% of 50
60 is 60% of 100
I didn't understand the cross multiplying part

30 is 30/50 * 100

= 60 % of 50 (option d)
