Hello Everyone,

While our country is struggling with COVID’s second wave, it is heartening to see many people rising to the occasion and helping those in need!

We, the students of IIM Calcutta’s one-year residential MBA program, are also trying to play our part and have come up with a COVID relief fundraiser in association with Milaap, a leading crowdfunding platform.

If you are an MBA aspirant, then you can be a part of our “Consulting for a Cause” initiative in which you will get an opportunity to interact with a mentor from IIM, Calcutta, who has walked down the same lane and can guide you in your journey towards your dream B-School.

To register for a 45-minute consulting session visit: https://lnkd.in/gcFHY4M

To donate please visit - https://lnkd.in/e_Bdfdm

PS: This is a student-driven initiative and not associated with any college or organization.

The current initiative, which is building momentum, is called Oxbridge Oxygenates - a joint effort with Oxford MBAs to raise money. In return for a minimum donation of 1000Rs / £10 / 14 $, donors get 30mins session 1-on-1 session with a Cambridge or Oxford MBA on one of the following themes:

a) Studying Abroad Counselling (University Selection, Financial and Visa Guidance)
b) MBA Admissions (GMAT/GRE/IELTS/TOEFL, College Application Review, Job Prospects)
c) Post MBA Careers(Tech, Consulting, Finance/VC, Entrepreneurship, Sales & Marketing)
d) Life at Cambridge/Oxford

Hey annie1995! There are two fundraisers I am part of that are raising money directly and accept foreign donations as well! Please find their details below. Feel free to reply or PM me in case you have any questions! Thank you so much for stepping up in the time on need. We really appreciate it!

Option A. Fundraiser by CBS Admits with 1:1 donation matching:

Hi everyone! The CBS Class of 2023 is launching a fundraiser to combat the COVID-19 crisis ravaging India. The second wave has taken over India (home of 1/6th of the world’s population) and rapidly escalated into a devastating crisis. The health infrastructure has crumbled under the sudden surge with critical shortages in ICU beds, medical oxygen, ventilators and other medicines. In the week ending on May 9, India reported 2.7 million new cases and >27,000 deaths, numbers that may not even reflect the true count.

CBS ’23 has partnered with the Mukul Madhav Foundation (MMF), based out of Pune, Maharashtra, to raise funds and provide relief to the COVID-19 crisis in India. Your donation, however small or big, can go a long way in providing support through the ability to purchase ventilators, O2 concentrators, PPE kits and other essential supplies.

We are targeting to raise $6000 through admitted students and our extended networks. All your donations will also be 1:1 matched by MMF’s corporate partner. Donate now at: https://bit.ly/CBS2023ForIndia

We understand some of you may not be in a position to make a monetary donation at the moment, but would greatly appreciate your support as changemakers by:
* Educating yourself and others on the current situation in India (see Slack appeal for an overview of the current crisis)
* Amplifying our efforts with your networks to help us meet our fundraising target

Please join us so we can #fightbackwithkindness!

Option B. Fundraiser by Students Fight COVID, a Pay It Forward Initiative by admits and alumni of top business schools:

Hi everyone! We have decided to run a parallel fundraising campaign to tap into the people who want to donate without availing the mentoring services.

We are running a campaign for Swasth Foundation (verified by us), a non-profit working tirelessly on-ground to provide relief efforts by procuring oxygen concentrators and channelling them to hospitals in remote areas. These oxygen concentrators can bolster the much-needed resources for hospitals, treat outpatients and save thousands of lives. Your contribution can make a huge difference.

Our community needs all the support they can get urgently. We request you to donate and urge your friends and family to do so. @⁨Bhumika Batra⁩ will share a message shortly that you can copy paste in your personal https://gmatclub.com/chat network.

Here's our campaign link: https://milaap.org/fundraisers/studentsfightcovid19.

Every bit counts!

I guess I am a bit late to the Party!

I have come up with a better plan sorted out for the admits and we'll do more than consulting for B-schools.
A successful consulting service signing up for an initiative along with students from all the top US / UK schools.

A powerful alliance at work to assuage the Oxygen crisis in India.
Because we literally got people signing up from all sorts of schools, even my ex-clients signed up! It is getting bigger by the day to keep track. People from US, Canada,UK, you name it, we have it.

We will help with consultations on all sorts of things including but not limited to Business school package (free from CWBC), Industry chats, Pre-MBA prep, Company info, School insider info, Career advice etc,. Basically a one shop stop to get everything sorted.

We got people from all kinds of Backgrounds, including tech, consulting, Military, Entrepreneurship, Real estate and your very own Businessconquerer providing the resources of a professional consulting service.

LIMITED TIME FUNDRAISER-
NOTE- We offer deferred services as well. So, you can donate now and pair up with a volunteer but avail services when you actually need them. (Valid till December 2021)

How to reach out????

Simple- Use the website in my signature and enter the code - STANDTOGETHER in the description.
We will reach out directly to your mail and match you to your preferred volunteers.

Donate now and stand with India.
