Well the portal said that they would inform on or before 7th May IST.

So, I think there isn’t a need to panic

Might release the results by end of tomorrow.

Best wishes everyone. ISB usually sends out decisions in the afternoon - late afternoon...

And just remember -

if you dont get through - this is not the end of your ISB dreams. there are many other entry options later.

at the same time, there are many other excellent programs available - such as MIM, or deferred MBA at international schools.

if you do get through, which I absolutely wish, don’t take R2 lightly. there are quite a few things to finish - an essay, LOR, Resume, and the GMAT/GRE score

is it better to get an LOR from a professor or someone who has been my senior during an internship?

doesn’t matter. get it from either. the only condition is that they should know you well and should have worked with you.

If the senior holds a permanent position in the company, It’s better. But if it’s another senior student, then a professor would be more valuable.

I worked under someone at a big firm but the person has now left the company. Is it fine if i get an LOR from them or no?

Oh yes it should be good. I stated that it shouldn’t be a student who was also doing an internship because unis would value someone who has a decent amount of experience as well as knows your well. The person you mentioned should be perfect. Doesn’t matter if he isn’t in that particular company right now.

I heard from pgp applicants that they usually roll out the emails around 5pm.
