While we're on the topic, I would love to understand how much MOOCs weigh in on the resume? Thanks!

Hi ahasd70

Thanks for posting. Here are our thoughts, and answers to your queries as well:
- Your GPA and undergrad performance is pretty solid. The fact that you have a Master's as well helps boost your profile further. You have had solid career progression as well, and are well aligned with your future goals. Your undergrad/postgrad degrees are fine in terms of pedigree. No issues there at all.
- ECA is a bit of a concern given the information you have shared. Need to look more closely at this area.
- While every Indian is in a competitive pool, you are not in a typically overrepresented pool. Your goals will need further refining though (for later, after you take the GMAT) as they seem similar to what you were doing in your previous role. This is an area of focus for later.
- Try and aim for a GMAT score closer to 750 as it will help you target more schools in the top 10, and improve your chances generally in the top 20 as well. Something closer to 720 or 730 will work as well but might hamper you a bit in the top 10 (ok for top 20 though).
- A bit curious on your school selection. You have a top 5 school listed here, and then 3 from the top 20. Plenty of other options in between that you did not mention. Would like to understand how you selected these.

Hope this helps. Please feel free to come back with more questions as needed or to contact us directly at our email in our signature below for a 1-1 discussion.

MOOCs can help to show interest in a future area of work, or the passion to build deeper skills in a current area. While they are not critical or even required elements in the resume, they can help.

Thanks GyanOne for your detailed reply. I actually haven’t decided all the schools yet. These are some of the programs I liked based on the courses.I will research more in the coming months.
