Hi EmpowerGmat,
1)Started in January with the basics on Quant and Verbal, till mid-February not doing real
OG questions. Typically, 1 to 2 hours each day and more during weekend (but not all of them). I also tested positive for covid and was sick during April.
2)Study material: Questions from
OG (practice bank here in GMATClub with selecting the source) + several interesting videos + notes from GMATclub. CATs: Veritas: 2 free + 2 retakes + 1 Official CAT + 1 GMATClub
3) 1-GMATClub: JAnuary at the beginning, only verbal scored 25. Took the Quant part but more like practice questions during several days.
2- Veritas 1: Q46 / V30 (April just before covid) 3-Veritas 2: Beginning of May Q50 (but run out of time + did some pauses) and V31 4- Veritas retake 1 mid-may: Q50 (again, same problem, run out of time, wouldn't have finished without the pauses at the end (maybe 4/5 questions) and V34 (didn't really encounter many reviewed questions 4-Official CAT (last Saturday): I was very nervous, haven't slept for 2 days, have just picked my date, Q46 and V26 : basically no improvement since the beginning ... did really silly mistakes, the stress, run out of time in Quant as always, had to guess the 2 to 3 last questions in Verbal. I lose my abilities when I do tests, forget rules I know etc. 5- Retook yesterday Veritas 2 verbal only, V35 (with some of the questions I knew before but not too many 1RC passage + 1 question)
4) Ideally round 1 applications. So if I don't get my target score (which is very likely), I'll probably retake the exam in August (I already have my English test in July + essays to work on). School list will depend on the GMAT score, I can consider round 2 if the GMAT is not satisfactory but as a last resort

Hi prepgmat95,
Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
