CBA = 180 - 120 = 60
CBD = 180 - 60 = 120

Now in triangle CBD ,
x + 50 + 120 = 180
x = 10

Solution:

Its a question to observe and make simple inference based on Properties of Triangles.

Angle CBA = 180-(90+30)=60 degrees

=>This is an external angle to the internal opposites x and 50 degrees=> x+50=60

=>x =10 degrees (option a)
