Hi,
I wish to apply to ISB this year in R1.I have few doubts:
1)If you could tell us, does ISB converts the GRE score to GMAT using ETS converter or they are used as it is.
2) Is GMAT preferred over GRE.
3) The median score for GRE intake for batch of 2021.
Thanks.
Hi
vibkan,
1) We do not convert your GRE score to equivalent GMAT score, and would advice you not to do the conversion.
2) There is no preference between a GMAT or a GRE. You can give any one or both exams. If you submit both exam scores, ISB will pick the best score out of the two. The GMAT score range with which the current batch has come in is between 600 & 780. The GRE score range with which the current batch has come in is between 313 & 338.
3) Median score for GRE intake for the PGP 2021-22 batch is 328.
It was an exceptional year given the situation all around. For the next PGP 2022-23 batch, things will hopefully be better and everything will be hopefully back to normal again.
The PGP application form has 6 sections, and each section has a score. Your GMAT/GRE is just one section of the application. There have been scenarios in which applicants with high GRE/GMAT scores have not been selected, and applicants with GRE/GMAT scores in the lower end of the score range have been selected. Therefore, we advice you to work equally on all the other sections as well to get a good overall profile-based score which will be considered while shortlisting you for the interview stage.
