What is a safe GMAT score for ISB?

Hi Parth2497, with a score of 750 or above, one can be reasonably sure of an interview call. Final admit obviously will depend on how you perform in the interview.

Hi AbhipsaAnindita, in general, we advice candidates to be employed at the time of application submission.

Drawing a blank in "current employment", is obviously not a great thing.

Hi, I am working as an officer in SIDBI.I have work experience of more than 9 years.I have cleared FRM and I am a CFA level 3 candidate. However,my academic credentials are poor.I intend to give GMAT in September.I want to know if there is a difference in monetary terms(with respect to fees) or any other difference otherwise if I don’t apply before 1st deadline of 15 the Sep (and rather apply before 2nd deadline)

My target score is 730

With 700+, you have a very decent shot at ISB Aashi127.

Make sure this target converts into reality.

Hi Parth2497, decent profile. You have not mentioned your goals post-ISB, but I guess that discussion can wait. You have also not mentioned your undergrad school-name.

Nevertheless, since your experience is slightly on the lower side, GMAT score could indeed play a crucial role.

Interesting profile saumyas1701 While you could ace the “diversity profile” ticket provided you do a good job on your life stories, I cannot emphasize less on having an impressive GMAT score. While two years of work experience is on the lower end of the spectrum, think of stories from your early years where you took responsibility (perhaps at home or in your community), demonstrated leadership skills, and created value for people around you. Show how you have touched the lives of your students as a Spanish teacher. You must also tie your post MBA career goals very clearly to the career trajectory you have followed so far. Leave no room for doubt in the minds of the adcom. Demonstrate with examples that you are passionate about languages/ teaching and how having an MBA could set you up on the right path for greater success- both in the short term as well as in the long term.
Good luck
