INSEAD Waitlist September 2021 Intake

Been waitlisted last night R3
AO is EL

and yet I had originally applied for January 21 intake but somehow got deferred and was asked to improve my GMAT score

AO told me that there are barely any seats left by she claimed that she got two R1 off the list this morning

So others on the waitlist should not expect any positive news in this round? I'm EL as well btw.

I just got a call that I am admitted from the waitlist...it's kind of a bit too late now not sure how I feel about it anymore lol.

Thanks. No not yet. I will sleep on it tonight. I think I might turn it down just simply because my situation has changed and moving to Singapore or France does not inline with my personal plan anymore. I want to stay in the UK so I might go with Cambridge or Oxford. It is a very hard decision to make though....If I was not waitlisted in R1 maybe things will be different, sigh.

I did send them an update in my career back in Jan. Then I emailed my AO three weeks ago to tell her that I have offers from other schools and would be grateful if they can make a decision soon.

Congrats. I've been providing incremental updates to my AO (also EL) - no movements. I also have offers from 3 other schools, including Oxford. Here's to hoping I still get the call...

I got waitlisted as well yesterday after a couple of really good interviews. Any idea if telling the ad-com being open to Jan intake would increase chances if the class is full already?

Hello Guys, I have been accepted from the waitlist, I applied for R3.
When I was on the waitlist, I provided an additional short video to present my post MBA goals from a new perspective, focused on my vision on climate change, and how I plan to contribute to the Insead community.
I also provided an additional letter of reference.
My Gmat score was 710, and I didn’t take it again.
I will start in September at Fonty.

I wish all the best to all of you guys and hope to see you there.

Has anyone heard any updates here? I was waitlisted R3. Have provided incremental updates with generic response from AO. Obviously do not have high expectations at this point, but interested to know when we should expect a final decision to be made either way.

Hi
No unfortunately I haven’t, but I’ve been in touch with other waitlisted applicants and I literally heard from one of them an hour ago on https://gmatclub.com/chat and he got the call last week.
He will be missing a couple weeks on campus due to paperwork that s taking ages.

IMHO I don’t think other people will get a spot tho. I stopped believing long ago.

Yes I did! they gave me offer last week! That’s a huge surprise and luck. Guess got several guys deferred or quitted . I still try to digest the information now
