Hello,
Thanks for these fantastic error logs. I am new to studying for the GMAT.
In terms of the difficulty, what kind of a point range would you point on each of the 4 difficulty categories. Would very difficult be 750-800 range? Would medium difficulty generally questions fit into the sub-600 category on this sub or would be considered over 600?
Nice username 😂😬
You could make that distinction. These are rough guidelines that split basically questions into four categories. You can also see the percentile ranking which is more detailed. There are 10 of them and that gives you a little bit more information about where it quit. This question fits in in the percentile ladder of difficulties, you will see that there are not too many very hard questions and there are a few reasons for that. One of course is that there aren’t many and the second one is that we have a decent number of fairly hard questions posted and when compared to those harder questions, these don’t necessarily rank as high. However, you can view them in a bubble of their own and sort of build a relative difficulty.
I would probably discourage you from hunting for ultra high, difficulty questions since those tend to show up less and less on the test. People have been reporting getting a lot of medium difficulty questions and getting decent the note great scores well making only two or three mistakes. eg Q49 with 3 wrong was one of the recent reports. There’s basically means you will have significantly higher ROI, investing your time and effort into medium difficulty questions.
Long answer to a simple question 😂
