Did you use the ETS conversion tool from the following link? It looks like your GMAT is considerably better than the GRE score. What are your Quant verbal split scores?

Also, check your percentile scores for Quant and verbal for GMAT and GRE.

Only a few people apply using GRE and hence the average scores you are seeing on the school websites may not correlate with GMAT and the ETS conversion tool is not an accurate predictor :)

I'd go with the GMAT score. For an Indian applicant, a GRE score of 325 is still going to remain average
Re: Which score to send [#permalink]
Hi MBADecoder,

I am in similar situation. I have a GMAT score of 700 (48-Q, 38-V) and a GRE score of 324 (163-Q, 161-V). Not sure which score to apply with.
I'm targeting Ross, Cornell, Duke, UCLA, UNC, Tepper.

I would look at the program averages and which score is closer/above the average. Keep in mind that over-represented groups are pretty competitive…. For example the average score for Ross among competitive groups is 750…. Just FYI.

Thanks bb!

So just to clarify, for instance Duke, on its website, lists a GMAT (middle 80%) range of 670-750 and a GRE (combined average) of 317 - in this case which one should I apply with?

Last year Fuqua was 702 average and up to 740 spread for 20-80. https://gmatclub.com/forum/average-gmat ... 54237.html

If the average GRE is 317, an increase from 315, I would apply with the GRE since your GMAT is below average.

Thanks again bb!

This clarifies it for me. Will be looking at school-wise GMAT and GRE averages and/or ranges and then select the one which makes me look better than the average number.
Re: Which score to send [#permalink]
Hi bb

So I retook the GMAT and unfortunately could only manage a 710 this time. Does this change the scenario for me in any way?

Thanks!
