Hello me,

The old adage goes - dont put all eggs in one basket! Having mentored applicants for more than 5 years now, creating curated winning stories for students across the board for top B schools globally, I can tell you that strategy of schools keep changing basis the market needs. Also, in alignment with positioning strategy of the school, they might shift gears. I sit in the interview panel of ISB for almost all programs. Also, am part of the Advisory board for ISB-SEAL, and do know that things keep changing! And keeping the best interests in mind of the applicant - I can advise that at bare minimum, always go with "rule of 5". 2 gettable schools, 2 somewhat difficult schools and 1 aspirational school.

Would love to chat more. Buzz me on +91-9003286585, if you need a quick chat - you don't need any funds for that, do you :) :)

All the very best! And keep up the journey. You already have a score. Its about crafting the winning story for you!

Cheers!

A very weird question. In my organization, I have held 4 posts in the last 4 years. (Got promoted). However, I really screwed up the Professional Experience Section; wherein I only put the last designation along with the Initiatives & Achievements in the last 4 years.

They might take one look at my application and say conclude that there is no career progression and therefore, reject me. Can anyone tell me if I should email them?

Even though I was promoted in my org, I put it up as 1 work experience too.

I don’t think it should matter. They’re likely to do a search for stuff like “promotion”

and years of work ex

I believe it is not deal breaker if you do not mention all your designations/posts since if you have served in a company for few years it is generally implied that you would have been promoted. It is essential that you mention all important works, challenges and roles that you have handled. If you plan to apply to other b-schools do mention your career progression in a sentence or two. It will help illuminate your profile a bit more. All the best!!

Question to people who've received the incomplete application mail. You just re-upload the complete documents and hit continue and wait, right?

I do not see any option to submit again. Just wanted to confirm that that is the case for other people as well.

I don’t believe this tracker, Lot many people entered 800 GMAT score, few are even admitted to Co23.
