Definitely let them know, it certainly won't hurt your status.

I wouldn't. You are still studying for CFA Accreditation. I guess you should have addressed the fact you are studying it but you have passed one of three exams.

Well done though.

I would let them know. I think a lot of people sign up for L1 just to put it on their resume (and never seriously pursue it), and it would be a way for you to distinguish yourself from these people.

gmatclb--why do you say don't bother with those schools? You don't think it will move the dial much?

Thanks guys. I think I'll send them an email. naturallight - I think gmatclb is applying to those schools! Are you a charterholder?

gmatclb - Don't worry I'm not applying to Haas or UCLA. Sorry about GSB.

Ahh, I see. Yeah, just got the ol charter. It was brutal.

Yeah, I was WL at Chicago and will be dinged at Haas (since I have not yet received an interview invite).

UCLA has a good program and I nearly applied there but went with NYU at the last second. I really should have applied to UCLA instead of Sloan, because I probably have no chance at Sloan.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda
