I got rejected from 5 schools R2 of last year. I made the worst mistakes last year but I learned from them. This time, I fixed everything and applied with a better application. Thank you for your kind words.

erhomoe, Yes! I can share briefly. My post-MBA goals were too generic. I didn’t do enough research on the schools. My letters of recommendations were not from people who knew me very well. I thought that by having a LOR from a public figure will do the job. My resume highlighted responsibilities not achievements. My past story did not align with my future goals. I did not know what story to choose to write about on my essay. Did not reach out to alums or current students. Did not think it was important. I went for schools who have brand names but they didn’t fit me. I trusted a consultant on removing a section from my resume just so it becomes a 1 page resume and did not think of the consequences. Honestly, it’s embarrassing to admit this but I will say it...I thought that having a 780 gmat score and a 338 gre score while being an Arab female would be sufficient. I was too confident. Wrong. On my application, I tried to fit in and look "perfect" and shied away from being vulnerable. God, I have a lot to say about what I did wrong...

The best advice I can give you erhomoe, is do your research. The schools want to know that you’re actually interested in them. I worked on my applications from April until September and I took my time. I did a lot of self-reflection. Good luck to you and everyone who applied to Kellogg 🙏🏽

24 hours prior to the interview time slot if I remember correctly.
