Hey, I dont know of your chances but you could mail ESSECs admission committee with a basic overview of your profile. They could give you a rough idea

Yes indeed, you’d all know of your application status - whether you’d be invited for an interview - only on November 10th. Last year they got the shortlist results by late evening (india time), so hopefully we’d know by the evening of 10th November.

Hey it would be an average score of 325+ since its GMAT 680+ for an Mim

use this to check for your self https://www.ets.org/gre/institutions/ad ... t06_180820

You should personally try to reach out to the school though to best explain your profile. Hope that helps ;)

Apologies in advance for I know this answer wouldn’t be of much use. However, I’d still re-iterate that ESSEC doesn’t announce its average score for GRE/GMAT. As Jaidude has advised, writing to the Adcom would be the best option. In that too, I really believe that the Adcom would only advise you to aim for a high score so that it helps you and they’d mention how gmat/GRE is only a part of your application and not something that would entirely break your case (exception being it’s way too low).

also, in multiple webinars by ESSEC, they’ve always mentioned how they’ve students with a 650 gmat as well as a 750 gmat. I don’t know the GRE equivalent to

i don’t know the GRE equivalent of the scores so that’s something you’d have to figure out. (Also, sorry for all the typos, I’m still getting used to the ios intervace

interface*)

It definitely would not put you at any disadvantage. ESSEC doesn't offer any gmat based scholarships either (some schools do have some GMAT specific scholarships too, such as ESMT), so you're not missing out in that aspect either.

Have you tried writing to the school? And if yes, would you please share what response they have given to you? It would definitely be helpful for anyone with the same query.

Thanks :)

Did you send the official score to the school? Did you give the online or test center based exam

While giving your gmat, there’s this option that comes before starting the test wherein you can fill upto 5 schools to whom you can send the scores. Do fill up ESSEC - MiM Grande Ecole there.

Once you’re done with your gmat, fill up your scores accordingly. If you do get your score report by then, upload that, otherwise send the soft copy of the unofficial copy of the gmat score that you receive post giving the exam at the centre.

This is obviously for the at centre exam. I did not give the online one so I have no idea about how that works.

For the online score you can decide your schools later and then send scores after you get the official results later.
