Does Kellogg call admitted applicants prior or on decision day?

Guys I heard this rumor but wanted to get your opinion. Kellogg kind of released interviews in two slots first on around mid september to early october and second in the last week of october. I’ve heard that people interviewed in the former are potential candidates and latter interviewees are kind of not the first choice unless they were exceptional in their interviews. I interviewed in the second slot and wanted to check if it is even remotely true!

sounds plausible but the ones who got interviewed first got the invites too early to even think kellogg had time to review their applications (I finished my video on Sept 19 and got the invite on Sept 21 with many others) so personally I don’t think it says anything 😊 we’ll find out soon enough!

Yes I literally clicked submit and I got an email saying "we are scheduling your interview now."

So don't read too much into it!

Yup, same thing, got interview invite within 24 hours after submission, No way they’ve read my application.

They’re matching interviewers based on your the career goal/region you filled in, it’s almost automatic for people who could be easily matched

Would request everyone to keep updating the decision tracker. With more entries, it might be possible to get some idea about the %conversion from interview invite to admit between the 1st and 2nd batch of interview invites.

I am from LatAm and I got my interview invitation about a week after the deadline. I was paired with someone in Boston, not related to my industry or career goals. Not sure what to expect or how they setup interviews...

That’s interesting to kknow! I always suspected they matched resume twins and therefore only select few got alum interviews. Maybe the process to decide who interviews you is completely arbitrary.

Many internationals get adcom members from what I've heard. Other than that it seems to be random.

For those who applied in R1, do you still receive the generic emails from Kellogg? The ones featuring upcoming events and such? The last one I received was on Nov 18th "Thinking about your future? We are too!"... Wondering if they already dropped the rejected ones off their mailing list...

Anyone know how Kellogg will announce decisions this year? Email/portal or phone call or zoom? If it is zoom link - those receiving a link to a zoom call can assume that they are admitted?
