Someone on reddit says they call 2/3 days before decision date, so it would be 6th-8th or even 9th

It looks like they’ll start calling on the 7th and you should know by EOD on the 8th to see if you get in. A very small number don’t get any calls and will find out on the portal on the 9th

Hi all, I have only a month before round 2 deadlines, does it make sense to drop Stanford instead of Harvard just because it’s the most competitive school? One good application is better than 2 average no?

I wouldn’t say it makes sense to drop Stanford because it’s the most competitive. But to your question — yes, one ”good” application is better than two average applications.

Hi, unfortunately I would recommend HBS in this case; the GSB application is sooo long if you do a proper job of it and the acceptance rate is brutal. HBS is much shorter; you might even be able to do another app ie MIT is on Jan 19 and it's pretty short. prepgmat95

It seems like 99% of the calls come from someone on the admissions committee. At least that's what I see on the decisionwire from last year.
