You can but you really shouldn't. I went over by 10% and it was alright. But I could have gotten a lenient reader.

10% is quite a bit I think, it’s better to play it safe

If they wanted more, they’d have allowed more. If you get a strict reader, you might lose points for not following instructions

Remember, these applications are also a way of them testing how effectively you can write in a succinct fashion

The way I see it is, they clearly say 300 words. Why risk losing points over something that you can control?

Rewording, rephrasing, and eliminating unnecessary words

you’d be surprised how much meaning you can retain by eliminating some trivial phrases

I didn't use it for MIT but another school, and that was Zoom.

It was just me talking to the camera and not moving around, so I used my phone as a camera, positioned it at eye level, started a zoom meeting with only myself and chose the record option within zoom. Once I was happy with a take, I ended the meeting and was sent the download link a few minutes later.

Otherwise, you could use your phone as just a normal video camera and edit in Adobe Rush if needed. I just went with Zoom because I didn't want to clog my phone's storage with my many retakes haha

If you haven't submitted it yet, then include it as its standard business letter format to include it.

If you've already submitted but didn't include the date, then don't worry about it. You're not going to get dinged just because you forgot to put a date in your cover letter.

Hi Folks, sloan asks for size 10 font for the resume. If we have it as 11, is that OK?

Can you share your pre interview questions and when did u get this? Just prior to date of interview or on the invitation date??
Also what were the questions like...
