MBA Spotlight Summer 2022
June 13, 14, & 21 2022



MBA Spotlight Fair is June 13, 14 & 21!
It is only 2 days - we are packing a week-worth of AdCom sessions in just 3 days.
This year is a new format with most session going to Zoom. We will still have some amazing panels on YouTube (stay tuned for those to be announced.)
Note - we are not recording any of the Zoom sessions for privacy reasons. There will not be AdCom session recordings - don't miss your opportunity to introduce yourself or quietly listen in.



All AdCom meetings will take place on Zoom
Register for individual AdCom Zoom sessions
(limited to 100 people per session)




Which MBA Programs Participating?
  • All Top 20 MBA programs have attended the last 2 years. The latest list of MBA and MiM programs will be available on the registration portal. We already scheduled over 20 MBA programs and expect a lot more to confirm closer to the event. Currently 39 sessions are open for registration and we will be adding more so check often. All AdCom sessions will be on Zoom and are limited to 100 spots so make sure to sign up on the registration portal.


Why Attend?
  • MBA Spotlight is the biggest AdCom event of 2022 - 2023 application season
  • Learn what's happening next application season - test requirements, deadlines, essays - get the early scoop
  • Engage with the AdCom - let them know you are serious (if you are or just sit back and listen if you are still thinking about it)
  • Listen to what questions others have - get an idea of what's important
  • Compare how you stack up with other applicants


What is Special about MBA Spotlight Fair?
  • The Largest MBA Fair in terms of the number of schools participating and attendance
  • It is a community fair - you can get involved as a moderator for zoom sessions - you can apply here.
  • Some of the most interesting and unique GMAT/MBA Panels (stay tuned - you won't be disappointed ;) )
  • Diverse: 50+ sessions in 2 days


Will You Have Recordings if I Cannot Attend?
  • No - Sorry. Due to privacy reasons, we are not recording any of the AdCom Zoom sessions. Your privacy is safe and your participation is anonymous. However, this means that if you are not able to attend, you will not be able to watch any of the sessions later. Sorry about that. We will have a number of panels and general sessions air on YouTube. Those will be recorded but not the AdCom Zoom sessions.


What Time Does It Start/End?
  • Monday June 13
      Start: 6 AM Los Angeles / 9 AM New York / 14:00 London / 18:30 Mumbai
      End: 11 AM Los Angeles / 2 PM New York / 19:00 London / 23:30 Mumbai

  • Tuesday June 14
      Start: 6 AM Los Angeles / 9 AM New York / 14:00 London / 18:30 Mumbai
      End: 11 AM Los Angeles / 2 PM New York / 19:00 London / 23:30 Mumbai


Register to attend this informative and engaging event! We are working with business schools on getting student panels, dedicated presentations and events scheduled. A Detailed Schedule is coming soon and will be available in advance. We are planning to hold sessions from 6 AM PST to 11 AM PST (that is US Pacific Time) that seems to work best for all of our audience. If you have any questions or comments or suggestions, please let me know.

Oops. Someone just told me that the mobile version of the Registration portal was missing school logos/sessions and they could not registered.
It seems it was a glitch and we fixed it. You should now be able to register on mobile devices as well :angel:

I could see the logos of the colleges Schulich and Wharton but not able to see the names under the registration portal.

It's working fine for me. You just have to click the blue speaker tab, then select the school you want to interact with, click register, and fill in the essentials. You are registered.

FYI - I don’t have yet a confirmation about the time for the Wharton and Schulich sessions so they are not on the schedule yet. We have 41 sessions on the schedule so far and I’ll keep adding them as we lock in the time.

Thank you so much! We have a few opportunities to engage with AdComs and sign up to Moderate Zoom room discussions. You would talk to the AdCom in advance via email about their preferences/logistics, then login to the Zoom session early and then do the intro for the AdCom and depending on their preferences and your discussion with them, potentially moderate the discussion and questions in the Zoom.

Thanks! Good question.
Each session will be 45 mins. You may need to choose strategically which one you will attend on June 13 and which ones on June 14th.
You should be able to find all of the sessions available on both days (with exception of Stern that had a scheduling issue) to give an opportunity to attend multiple sessions and mitigate some of the conflicts.

Thank you. That’s very considerate of you. I think you can cancel it in the zoom. Look for your zoom email and I think that has an option to cancel you.

I’m not sure if that will have an impact on GMAT Club registration but that doesn’t really matter too much since zoom registration is what is determining capacity.

So use your confirmation email to cancel and if you cannot for some reason, let me know and I will remove you from the session you want to skip.

PS. You can also be late or leave early in some cases just FYI.

Wow! 👍 awesome.

I feel it will be another interesting year with so many different trends and patterns colliding. For the last two years we’ve seen fewer people take the GMAT in the US and then now there is the economy shuffling and recession talk. Things are all over the place

I was expecting an application decline three weeks ago. I think it’s a little too early to expect a surge. I think a surge would be unlikely in my opinion. I think we would need to face a pretty significant downturn with actual layoffs. It takes time for people to decide to pursue an MBA. I feel that almost under all scenarios there will be a decline in round one applications.
