All the best with your next attempt. Here's someone who went from a v31 to a v40 in about a month. They took a bit of verbal tutoring but used a variety of resources (some free) that you can potentially leverage.

Only advice is ... stick with the section order that has worked better in practice tests. In mock tests you can try different section orders to see what works better for you.

The real exam is not the time to try anything new.

Hi Abhishekgmat87,

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day didn't go as well as planned - although a 650/Q50 is still a solid Score (and it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School). When these types of score drops occur, the two likely "causes" involve either something that was unrealistic during practice or something that was surprising (or not accounted for) on Test Day. Before we discuss any of those potential issues though, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) Over the last 3 months, how many hours did you typically study each week?
2) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
3) What is your overall goal score?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

If you took your Official GMAT at a Test Center, then you might also choose to purchase the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.

Hi Rich,

Thanks for the reply. I have solved approx. every questions of OG and almost 50% GMAT prep questions in Verbal. I am proving the details as asked-

Studies:
1) Over the last 3 months, how many hours did you typically study each week? 20 hours
2) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
1. 11/07/2022 GMAT Prep Practice 1 - 710 Q51 V34
2. 17/07/2022 GMAT PREP PRACTICE 2 - 740 Q51 V 39
3. 24/07/2022 Veritas Free Mock - 680 Q50 V 34
4. 31/07/2022 Manhattan Free Mock - 710 Q51 V36
5. GMATCLUB QUANT MOCKS - Q51 in last 5 mocks given from 23/07/2022 to 06/08/2022

Goals:
3) What is your overall goal score? 720 +
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to? R2 for 2023-24 session in IIM's

I have purchased ESR and enclosing the copy here. I got 9 incorrect in Verbal but scored only 28. I was getting 10-12 incorrect out of 36 questions in all the mocks and was scoring 34-39
